Essential Experience : Experience in process design/plant operations and key knowledge in the oil & gas industries, petrochemicals & utilities, onshore & offshore EPC projects and product manufacturing. Expertise and excellence in preparation of process simulation, design calculations, equipment sizing, datasheets, relief calculation, PFD/ P&ID preparation, utility summary, equipment list and line list. Has knowledge of national and international codes & standards. Commisiong of Process Packages and Performance test. HAZID/HAZOP/SIL study,

Required Knowledge/Skills : Control Valve sizing, P&ID and PFD preparation, Heat and material balance, Heat exchanger sizing, Hydraulic calculation, Process Simulation, HAZOP deliverables, DCS operation, SOP Preparation, Design Philosophies, Line & Equipment sizing, FEED report preparation, HAZOP action closure, Process & Instrument data sheets.

Software Proficiency : Aspen, HYSYS, Flarenet, UNISIM & HTRI

Familiarity with Codes & Standard : All API Pumps, NFPA, BIS, EN, ASME, TEMA & Interntional Standards. API 12K, API 12J, API 660, API 661 EIL, SHELL DEP, OISD, BIS, EN Standard.

Industry : High Value Capital Equipment companies / Oil/ Gas/ Hydrogen Processing Industry

Roles & Responsilities

  1. Review Tendor documents, design basis, client speccification, PFD and P&IDs, PDS , Scope of work , Prepare TQs, Participating clinet technical discussion. Prepare PFD, PID , PDS, Equipment list , line list , Technical Specification for tender/ bid submission.
  2. Proposal Engineering, Understanding client requirements, Participating client meeting, Tendor review, Raise TQ, Reply for cleint / vendor TQ, Preparation of RFQ for Process units, equipments, Internals for Procurements.
  3. Perform Line sizing, Pump Hydraulics and PSV sizing, control Valve sizing
  4. Equipment sizing, Prepare / Review of Equipment Process datasheets.
  5. Preparation Technical Bid Documents
  6. Review PO, Tendor clarifcation , TQ replies, Preparation of Design basis and method statement for Main Process system , utility & auxilalary sytems, Prepare PFD, PID , Basic Plot Plan, Equipment selection and sizing & PDS
  7. Equipmet sizing ( Process, Utility, Pump & Heat exchangers), Adequacy checks of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, condensers, storage tanks, pumps, process safety valves, level and pressure control valves.
  8. Thermal design of Heat tranfer equipments , Bath Heater , Heater trreater , S& T heat exchangers, condensers, Air cooler Heat exchnager as per Internaltion standards.
  9. Lead & Supervise the Process team, Prepare key documents, Train & Guide Process Team. Assign Work and get Document Prepared on time with quality, Document checking/reviewing to ensure quality and correctness of design & drawings or data sheet.
  10. Preparing Process Deliverable list, Deliverables, Scheduling, issue / submission of Doucments to clinet, obtaining client approval, Issue of documents to interdicipline input documents for further engineering, ensure quality of documents, minimize the number of revisions.
  11. Inter dicipline co-ordiantion, Intercipline document checking & resolving comments, Provide necessary input and Guidnace to other discipline i.e C&I, Mechanical & Piping etc.. Implimenting quality procedure, maintaining check list, Check prints, Facing Ouality Audit, closing NCR, record keeping etc..
  12. Vendor offer evaluation, Technical Bid avaluation of Vendor offers of process Unit & equipments to finalish the vendor selection.
  13. Preparation of Opration and maintenance manual, Safety Documents, Area classification study report , Vent & Flare study, Blowdown study. PSV sizing. As built documents
